Trades are updated as of 04/04/2018
# Team Player Pos
1 Sam Darnold – Jr. (USC)

Height          Weight
6′ 3″             221 lbs

Sam Darnold will be the next QB taken by the Cleveland Browns in an attempt to overhaul the losing mentality in Cleveland.  He’s got a great arm, can read defenses, can move outside the pocket, but has some issues with foot placement affecting is throws. He appears to be NFL ready at this time, but luckily, Cleveland made the trade for Tyrod Taylor in order to give Mr. Darnold sometime to develop. I don’t see the Browns taking anyone else, unless they have just been faking everyone out by zoning so much of their time in evaluating Darnold.

2 Josh Rosen- Jr. (UCLA)

Height            Weight
6′ 4″               226 lbs

The NY GIants can literally go in any direction with this pick.  They need help in so many positions, there really is no telling what they may do.  As of right now, they need help in the RB, OL, WR, QB, DE, and LB positions.  New GM Dave Gettlemen just sent JPP to Tampa in exchange for a third rd pick, so this opens the door even wider to possible taking Chubb, but you can’t rule out Barkley. Ultimately, the NY Giants are seeking a replacement for 38 y/o Manning who is near the end of his career.  He will be done in a year or two, so it’s important to get someone like Rosen who can learn from a 2X SB champion.

3 Josh Allen – Jr. (Wyoming)

Height            Weight
6′ 5″                237 lbs

Josh Allen had the most impressive combine amongst all of the QB who attempted a throw in Indianapolis.  He has the size, the strength, and all the intangibles every team is looking for in a QB. Rosen, Mayfield, and Jackson all have question marks going into the draft; character issues, throwing ability, and maybe not even a QB. Josh seems to fit into what an NFL QB could be, but will he be a huge bust with Bowles still head coach in NY.

4 Bradley Chubb – Sr. (NC State)

Height           Weight
6′ 4″               269 lbs

This is the easiest pick in the draft if Bradley Chubb should fall to the fourth pick.  He’s arguably the best player in the draft class, and will make an immediate impact opposite to last years number one pick Myles Garrett. He’s explosive, smart, and strong.  The Browns may actually have a team next year.

5 * Baker Mayfield – Sr. (Oklahoma)

Height              Weight
6′ 1″                  215 lbs

Three QB are already off the board by the time the  Bills who have traded up to make it’s selection.  Unfortunately, Allen is off the board taken by the Jets so now, GM Doug Whaley must dig into his bag of tricks and decide if he needs to draft the QB of the teams future or to stick with off season addition National Championship winning QB AJ McCarron.  McCarron stays as starting QB until he is no longer effective, and Mayfield takes the field.

*Traded with Denver*

Denver receives 12 and 22 pick

QB *
6 Quenton Nelson – Sr. (Notre Dame)

Height               Weight
6′ 5″                   325 lbs

If Andrew Luck returns this upcoming season, he will need a Tackle to keep him upright.  He is forced from the pocket way too often, and suffers way too many hits, the need for a pure offensive tackle is a must in the Indianapolis draft.

7 Saquon Barkley – Jr. (Penn St.)

Height               Weight
6′ 0″                   233 lbs

With the recent departure from inconsistent RB Doug Martin, the Bucs have a significant need for a RB now.  It only makes sense that if Saqoun Barkley makes it down this far with such a top heavy QB draft, he doesnt get past the Bucs. He is a physical specimen. and will make an instant impact in the draft.  I would have placed him higher, but needs in the top six picks outweighed the drafting of a RB.

8 Calvin Ridley – Jr.  (Alabama)

Height               Weight
6′ 0″                   189 lbs

Calvin Ridley has all the intangibles every scout in the country wants, and needs to create a mismatch on the outside coupled with any other receiver on the field.  Since the Bears signed Allen Robinson in the off season.  Unfortunately, the Bears still do not know what Robinson can do coming off an injury, and they cannot continue with the ragtag bunch Rookie Mitchell Trubinsky was forced to throw to. Ridley will be a must pick for the Bears in order to sure up their absolutely abysmal offense last year, and pt them in better stabding with Trubinsky under center, Howard at RB, and a Ridley/Robinson duo WO.

9 Minkah Fitzpatrick (Alabama) Jr

Height               Weight
6′ 0″                  204 lbs

Minkah Fiztpatrick has all the intangibles every scout in the country wants, and needs to create a great short or long field distance defense.  Fitzpatrick is a must pick for the 49s in order to sure up their defense from last year.  They need a WO at this point to help Garrappolo, but Fitzpatrick is just too good to pass up at this point.

10 Tremaine Edmunds (Va. Tech) Jr

Height               Weight
6′ 5″                   253 lbs
Edmunds is an easy pick for the defensive mess the Raiders are currently in.  They need a new ILB who can lay the defensive QB position, and Edmunds fits the bill.  He’s smart, agile, and strong to the tackle.  He can take down a runner or defend the pass.  This is a must need for the Raiders who parted ways with troubled player Aldon Smith.

11 Roquan Smith – Jr. (Georgia)

Height               Weight
6′ 1″                   236 lbs

The Doplhins were a complete mess last year having lost their QB Tannehill to an injury and signing almost retired QB Jay Cutler, the team fell into complete disarray.  Cutler as ineffective, they traded RB Jay Ajayi who went on to win a SB, but somehow are picking at 11.  This is no mans land for any team struggling to rebuild.  Smith is possibly the best pic for the Dolphins right now having been selected by other ILB star Tremaine Edwards.

12  *
Height               Weight
5′ 10″                   191 lbs

Denzel Ward – Jr. (Ohio St.)

Having sent Aqib Talib to the Rams has left a wide open spot now on the Denver defense, which appears to be a shell of itself since winning the 2015 SB. Denzel Ward fits into any defensive scheme right off the bat helping to alleviate any loss felt by Talib.  He will be able to plug right in having played in the top defensive schemes at Ohio St.  Having signed Case Kennum in the off season, te Broncos no longer have to seek out a QB, especially when the hold the 5th pick in the draft.

Received from the Bills giving up the number 5 pick
Height               Weight
6′ 8″                   312 lbs

Mike McGlinchey – (Notre Dame)

No team is impenetrable to the dangers of having a terrible OL in the NFL, building a safe and secure line to protect your QB is a must.  Mike McGlinchy is a big, strong, agile, and an inside man who can help block for recent addition Alex Smith, who is not getting any younger.

Will Hernandez – Sr  (UTEP)

15 Jaire Alexander – Louisville

16 Courtland Sutton –  Jr. (SMU) WR
17 Orlando Brown – Sr. (Oklahoma) OT
